We stayed at this hotel for one night last week to celebrate our anniversary. We were not specifically told that our room had been upgraded, but it felt more spacious than we had expected. We were also touched by the chocolates and other thoughtful treats prepared for our anniversary. The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly friendly—I honestly would have loved to chat with him more if he hadn’t been busy with other guests. The room design is quite minimal. I wouldn’t say it is exceptionally stylish or memorable, but it is comfortable and well-appointed. What really makes this hotel stand out are the beautiful communal spaces. The restaurant creates a lively atmosphere. The gardens are spacious and lovely, and having breakfast outdoors in the garden was a good highlight. The spa is also lovely… when there are only adults around…, it feels peaceful and elegant. Although the hotel is located a little outside the city centre, it offers outstanding value for money. Overall, I found it to be an exceptionally well-balanced hotel and would happily stay here again.

WOW what an amazing hotel! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. We stayed here for our wedding along with many of our guests, and the staff were so wonderful and helpful - it not only made for a great wedding experience, but also relieved a lot of our stress. All our guests were commenting on how great the staff are. The property is gorgeous, the courtyard unbeatable, the restaurant delicious, the rooms incredibly clean and comfortable, and the location very central. I truly believe the pictures online don’t do this hotel justice. We also hosted a reception in their bar area. Working with the event staff was great - their communication was quick and clear, and there were no surprises at any point. They were so helpful in their organization and went above and beyond for a great event and stay. Thank you to everyone at Pillows! I’ll never stay at another hotel in Ghent again

Nice rooms, service was good. Lots of facilities but I didn’t use them. Do bring your swimsuit if you plan to use the sauna and pool. I had breakfast for 2 days and I feel that there most dishes were the same on both days. Maybe just 1-2 different dishes. But it’s still a good spread. If you like variety then maybe try one day will be enough

Where do I start? This hotel was amazing and was the best hotel I’ve ever been for only $160 and I lived out of hotels for 5 years. Pros -The staff walked us all the way to our room and were extremely helpful and friendly. -Excellent common areas with a beautiful luxury design and cafe/restaurant with solid hours. -The room itself was well-sized and had a good view over the garden. -The room had plenty of amenities from a fridge to buyable and free snacks to free coffee to a nicely sized closet. -The room service was incredible. Oh my gosh. All the food was next level great, came in a timely fashion, had all the dippers. Cons -The area is O.K., not great. -It was so good that it made our substantially more expensive stay in Amsterdam’s Motel One seem like a homeless shelter.

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year with my partner. Staff were informative and friendly, offering a smooth check in and a room upgrade upon arrival, as well as local suggestions. The room was very clean and modern with a comfy bed and fresh towels/robes and black out curtains. It had a lovely view of the main building. The spa and pool were very clean, calm and smelt divine, with towels/robes. We dined at the Olivier Bistro which offered tasty and high quality food for a fair price, cocktails also tasted excellent. The hotel itself was modern and classic with a homely feel, and everywhere smelt lovely. Location is fantastic being a short walk to the main square and shops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury and relaxing stay in Ghent.
