We stayed at this hotel for one night last week to celebrate our anniversary.
We were not specifically told that our room had been upgraded, but it felt more spacious than we had expected. We were also touched by the chocolates and other thoughtful treats prepared for our anniversary.
The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly friendly—I honestly would have loved to chat with him more if he hadn’t been busy with other guests.
The room design is quite minimal. I wouldn’t say it is exceptionally stylish or memorable, but it is comfortable and well-appointed.
What really makes this hotel stand out are the beautiful communal spaces. The restaurant creates a lively atmosphere.
The gardens are spacious and lovely, and having breakfast outdoors in the garden was a good highlight.
The spa is also lovely… when there are only adults around…, it feels peaceful and elegant.
Although the hotel is located a little outside the city centre, it offers outstanding value for money. Overall, I found it to be an exceptionally well-balanced hotel and would happily stay here again.

I had an excellent two night stay here on a solo journey to visit ghent. The rooms are clean and well designed with minimal and tasteful decor. The communal space is truly the highlight of property. The upstairs “living” space that sits atop of the grand staircase was just gorgeous and the lush green gardens provided such a nice retreat along with the spa! The hotel is just off of the main tourists attractions enough for peace, quiet, and isolation. The room also gets pitched black once all curtains and lights are shut, which ai really appreciate. The heated bathroom mirror was such a nice touch for a long relaxing hot shower. Staff were friendly, though, I did my own thing and had minimal interactions with them. I did the not try the restaurants as there was a festival and I basically had many options outside to try out. It’s not likely I would visit Ghent again, but this hotel was such a highlight of my trip and would recommend to those seeking a bit of peace and relaxation during their trip.

WOW what an amazing hotel! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. We stayed here for our wedding along with many of our guests, and the staff were so wonderful and helpful - it not only made for a great wedding experience, but also relieved a lot of our stress. All our guests were commenting on how great the staff are.
The property is gorgeous, the courtyard unbeatable, the restaurant delicious, the rooms incredibly clean and comfortable, and the location very central. I truly believe the pictures online don’t do this hotel justice.
We also hosted a reception in their bar area. Working with the event staff was great - their communication was quick and clear, and there were no surprises at any point. They were so helpful in their organization and went above and beyond for a great event and stay.
Thank you to everyone at Pillows! I’ll never stay at another hotel in Ghent again

A wonderful experience from start to finish!
My sisters and I came to enjoy the Spa Reylof before having lunch at Olivier Le Petit Bistro, and everything was perfect. We received a warm welcome, the spa was beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful. We were celebrating my sister's birthday, and she came out of her massage absolutely delighted. I don't know the names of everyone who looked after us, but they all deserve our sincere thanks for their professionalism, kindness, and thoughtful attention.
Lunch was delicious, and the waiter was very kind.
A very special thank you to Jasper, with whom we spoke before our visit. Despite a few adjustments that had to be made to our reservation, he was always available, professional, and genuinely caring. Thanks to his dedication, we were able to enjoy a seamless and memorable experience.
We highly recommend this place and will gladly return 😉

Lovely hotel and beautiful.
Rooms are nice but not very spacious. Our room was on the streetwise which was very loud. Long waiting time for check in. Spa is nice but it’s just two small saunas and an indoor pool with not much out door lounging areas. The pool was a bit dirty.
The service was very friendly and I had a lovely time. I stayed on a Sunday night when it’s a bit cheaper, but I would not pay 300+€ for this.
